Yo Ho Ho and a little Alberta (8/13)

Despite my Daddies broken leg--we proceeded out of the country--
these Canadians don't lack self-esteem.

This place was take your breath away beautiful!

Auntie L. smiles and I stick my tongue out.

Lots of posing followed.

Auntie L. took some pictures for strangers.

Strangers took pictures for us.

Daddy advertising for the wheelie thingy.

More incredibly beautiful water.

More posing...

Look at Daddy go!

Take your breath away waterfall.

It may or may not be the longest in Canada...

More posing...

Then the sun came out!

Amazing!

We made it over the border to this famous spot in Alberta
for some family posing.

We were happy to almost be in "the best place on earth"!

Magnito on the Riverfront (8/13)

I  insisted Auntie L. needed to experience the Radio Flyer...and with
the hot sun it was an experience not soon forgotten.

Then--it was bridges of course.

We also made it to Magnito!
Auntie L. felt like she needed to point out the rules for this special garden.

Sometimes strangers will take your picture.

Visiting with Carlos K. Crinklebine in retirement.

Then it was time to stop and smell the roses.

We actually went into the famous garden area.

Lovely day with our lovely Auntie L.

Lake People (8/13)

My August was mostly spent swimming
in my neighbor's pool--which is cool I know.

Then Auntie L. showed up and we left our neighborhood.

We rented a boat and spent the day on a beautiful lake.
(The lake was a beautiful blue but my Mom was working
on her manual photography--which needs a lot of work.)

I did some pretend fishing on a passage way between the big and
little lakes.

Daddy drove with his cast on...
this was his first outing since his surgery.

The little lake was amazing...
beautiful clear water and nice sandy beaches.

We did do some swimming.
Keep your eye on the orange floaty.

Despite the lack of pictures it was a great day at the lake.

Once we had recovered from our day on the lake--
we took Auntie L. a on our favorite hike.

I think it is one of her favorites too.

Yeah--I crossed that!

It was great to be out and about...
Thanks Auntie L.!
