Snow Survey

We went searching for
a sledding hill.

We found it!

It was more of a hiking path than a sledding area.

E. and I holding hands.

Here is another pose.

E. thinks it's funny to show off her tongue.

Daddy joined us for a few pictures.

It is a pretty place--
even if we could not sled.

There is a lovely lake close to our snowy walking area.
You cannot tell from the picture but this lake is the fifth deepest in the United States.

It really did not seem that deep from the dock.

E. displays the tongue...

...as well as her walking skills.

Yeah--this ramp was fun.

Yeah--it did feel like a cold day in February with the wind coming off
the lake.

A beautiful place to be...

...even on a cold February day.

Sunny Sigh

We got a sunny day to play at our new local playground.

My friend J. was enjoying the sunshine too.

 E. just returned from Hawaii.
Aloha!
(That's my Dog, Cerberus sporting that lovely smile in the background.)

Yep--that is genuine sunlight on my sister's hair.

 Yeah--more sunshine.
(Have you every noticed how my hair looks like a halo
when sunlight hits it?)

This is my Mom's attempt to get E. and I to pose.

E. looking at the camera.
Nothing like a sunny day to make you thankful!

Fierce Falls

In February we decided to take a trip to
Palouse Falls State Park

There they are falling as falls will do.

 Bear enjoyed our little outing.

Wonderful big sky and open space!

Another place where water was kind
of falling.

 E. running--while I attempt to read.

 E. and I together with a great view.
 Another view.

This sign is by one of the viewing spots--
I am not sure who might be down there--
I thought Aunt L. might like the sign.

There is a lovely canyon for the river to run through.

Here is E. with a leash and no dog.

Here she is again with the dog but not on the leash.

In case you missed the previous photo
there she is again leash--no dog.

 Same shot with the falls.

Why yes that is the Palouse Falls behind that chain link fence.

Look--the falls, E., Mommy, and Me.
What a very nice February day.
