The Steam and Smoke Show

We made a visit to the Steam Plant.

It looks like those smoke stacks do something but they only
used to do something.

A, E, and I ready for the elevator.

There is a lot of stuff to explore.

 Bunkers to visit.

 More stuff.

 Inside the smoke stacks.

I found something to read on the way home.

When we got home it was finally time for
The Dance Show.

Despite our advertisements only our family came to the performance.

 I did a cowboy set--
A. willingly was my horse.

 Then there was dancing.

When it was all over I made my
famous bow and A. her curtsey.

In the final act we invite the audience on stage for some smoke
inhalation and the KSU fight song.
Go Cats!

River Roam

We have been talking about this ride for a while.
Here is the group
unable to look at the camera long enough for a picture.

Anna and I in and ready to go.

Aunt B. and Uncle M. getting in with K. and little J.

Daddy and E. ready for fun.

There we go.

Yes--it is really cool.

Close to the water.

Falling Falls.

A. and I enjoying the ride.

Look at those beautiful falls.

Amazing!

Over the water.

Heading back up the hill.

Worth a second look!

We got out and went for a walk by the falls.

Yes. quite a view.

Long lovely walk.

We made it to the bottom of the stairs.

Walking up.

Full Frosty Falls

I took A. to visit falls.

We enjoyed them even though it was cold.

Yes--it's snow covering the signs.

A lot of water flowing through those gates.

We had fun with the snow.

More water.

A's Daddy, K and little J. came too.

A's Mommy was there too.

Posing attempt.

J. strapped in for fun.

A genuine Merry-go-round.
(They are a lot more fun than this song makes them seem.)

I guess these used to be on most playgrounds--
but I have not seen many of them in my lifetime.

Maybe the lack of them may have to do with this
