Giving Thanks

Me giving thanks with a grateful heart--I love cranberry sauce!

I tried to stow some sauce in my shirt (not a successful endeavor.)

The turkey I was a little less thankful for...

Here we are at the table...
starting on my right--my Daddy, my Great Grandma, my Great Grandpa, my Second Cousin Cameron, my Aunt Linda (who made the cranberries!! thanks!)

Here is one of my patented forced smiles with Aunt Linda missing and the addition of my Mommy.

Fall Bike Ride

We took a small break to throw some rocks into the river--there I am in my helmet--yes it is blurry.

It does not look that fall like at this place by the river

Another blurry picture--I think Mom might not have liked the way I adjusted the camera.

Daddy and I enjoying a snack together

Here we are again still enjoying the snack

Mommy took this picture to try and get the different fall colors

I fell asleep on the way back home--it is really difficult to get comfortable in a bike trailer.

Harvest Festival Pumpkins

So here I am with a sign pointing to something....I seem upset but really I am just making a very important point about the picture of the truck

At the Harvest Festival was a field of pumpkins where I assume there could have been harvesting

Here I am searching, searching for that perfect pumpkin

Here it is the perfect one

OK I could not even lift it up so well the pumpkin was left unharvested by me

Harvest Festival Pony

The harvest fair also had ponies that I got to ride...unfortunately strangers insisted on leading the pony around while I was riding it.

Here I am on a pony if only I could take the reins and ride by myself

Here I am on a different pony with a different person not letting me have the reins

I liked the pony and I think he liked me

There I am making the pony look good
I

My Daddy was close by all while I was looking so good riding

Harvest Festival Tractor

At the Harvest Festival where no one got to participate in harvest there was a tractor also not involved in any harvest activities that I go to climb on First I tried to check if there was actually any gas in the tank

I then was trying to decide if I moved the tractor forward if I would hit anyone

While I was checking out the gears some other boy got into the tractor seat

The other kid finally left and I was able to take my rightful place

Steering the tractor was challenging

Trying to get the tractor to move was futile

Concentrating did not seem to help

I then began to make noises to encourage the tractor--still it did not move

Harvest Festival Haystack

There was a mound of hay set up that I could climb

here is another attempt to get me to pose for a picture with Dillon and Riley

and another attempt at posing

Daddy and I rode down the haystack like it was a slide

I liked the sliding down the haystack with Daddy

It was not a tall haystack but I needed help to climb it

In the end I slide down by myself

Harvest Festival

A few weeks ago we went to a Harvest Festival--a place for city kids--like myself, who do not have to actually harvest anything

we walked through corn called a maze where we got lost

Here is another angle of my lostness

My Daddy and Great Aunt Cass were lost with me most of the time

At some point Daddy pointed the way out

Here I am with my Grandpa Ed, Grandma Sybil and cousins--Dillon and Riley
none of us really wanted to pose
(I should tell all those with legal backgrounds who are wondering who these "cousins" are--that legally Dillon and Riley are not cousins at all.)

Here is another picture where we failed to pose but there is my winning smile
