Down by the Riverside

We had a picnic with all of my fans close to the river.
(My Mommy did not take a group photo but she did remember a tablecloth.)
This is Daddy and I posing with our hats on backwards--I am not sure why my Daddy is trying to look so mean.

I found many rocks that I could throw into the water.

With so many rocks it was difficult to make just the right choice.

We played fetch with Bear.

Bear was successful in bringing back most sticks but not all.
(My Grandpa Ed is in the background trying to get pictures.)

Bear loves to swim and I was amazed that she could swim against the current so well.

My Grandpa Ed and I had a great time playing together.
(I should mention that this was a great time until my Daddy noticed the ticks on me--I do not think we will be back there anytime soon.)

I don't want to overemphasize my trendsetting ways but I never saw my Grandpa wear his hat like this until he saw me do it...
I sure enjoy the time with my Grandpa when he comes to visit.

Fun in the sun with O and T

When I go to a playground I love to slide down the slide.

Once in awhile we go to the playground with Oren and Tobin

I think I have mentioned often my affinity for sticks...this was a short lived time of fun that my Mother put a stop to...something about losing an eye...

We all love to climb but really do not love to look at the camera...

Here is one of the group pictures where there was no awareness of a camera.

Oren and I had a lot of fun and we can look at the camera at the same time once in awhile.
(This was actually a group shot where the rest of the group was not prepared for the photo.)

We had a lot of fun...I am looking forward to more days like this with Oren and Tobin.

Easter Eggs Extravaganza

On Easter I was ready after dinner to hunt for some pagan eggs. I had changed out of church going clothes and was ready for action!

One of the first eggs--of course my paparazzi were asking for me to hold up my prize.

With some of the eggs I needed a little help.

It really is spring here--doesn't my Great Uncle and Aunt's back yard look beautiful.

Although there was no competition I felt the need to run!!!!

Once I had found all 22 eggs I got a congratulatory high five from my Great Uncle Ted.

I started to distribute my spoils to my loyal fans.

One of the eggs once it got wet was a towel which had a train on it--so I needed to do my train impression for the crowd.

Once I had the towel I felt like I needed to do my Jesus impression and wash some feet.

Here I am with my loyal fans.

This is dog's name is Bonnie--she was not allowed to look for eggs so she needed a little comfort.
Hope you all had a great Easter...He is risen indeed!!!

Painting Pagan Eggs

Before Easter I painted some eggs. Usually I do this with my Daddy but this year someone else helped.

My Nana painted eggs with me...her egg had a cross on it--so it was not so pagan as mine with faces on them.

We had a lot of fun together.

We laughed about a few things...

I giggled about many more things...

I never looked at the camera for my Mommy--I was having too much fun.

Picnic and Hike

Sometimes we picnic. I love eating outside.
I think Daddy must have been really hungry.

We started walking uphill and I started collecting sticks...

My Daddy would not let me ride in the pack on his back with my sticks--so I had to leave them behind.

We went by an area where there were piles of rocks.

When we got past the rocks we had a lovely view of the surrounding mountains.

My Daddy got tired of carrying me and Mommy wanting us to stop so she could take pictures.

At some point we stopped and I found some rocks to throw.

I planned on taking these rocks home but Daddy would not carry me and the rocks in the pack.

The views seemed much better on the way down.

Before we got in the car--my Mommy and I posed for a picture and "bear" pushed her way between us I think she wanted to be in the picture too.

Orange isThree!

I went to a party for Oren a few weeks ago--he is three just like me.

His Cousin Carter was there to celebrate Oren's big day.

I helped Oren blow out the candles on his cake.

We had tunnel races...all of our eyes were red--now our eyes just look strange.

Jumping with a tunnel is harder than it looks.

Daddy and I spent some time posing for the cameras.

Boy Scout Tree Trail

After Cousin Drew came to visit my Daddy revealed that he had never been to the end of the Boy Scout Tree Trail. So here we are in a not so great picture at the beginning of the trail--my Mommy tried to get it so you could see our faces but the sun is too strong.

Here is almost the same shot of us in the sunbeam...you can kind of see how big the trees are and how small we are in comparison.

I walked a lot of the way myself and I did not collect all of the sticks I wanted to bring home.

There were big trees in on the trail we had to climb over to finish the trail.

At the end of the marvelous trail is a waterfall...it was beautiful.

Mommy brought us some food to eat when we got to eat by the waterfall.

Here is a picture of me, my Mommy and a dog that suspiciously looks like our dog.

In all honesty--most of the way Daddy carried me in the JEO pack...I have a strong and wonderful Daddy.

I love big trees and you (Hilary and Charles) should come and see the trees for yourself.
