Redwood Run

Aunt Margaret came to visit--so we went on a redwood road trip.

Here is Erica in her seat--enjoying the drive.

We decided to check out some new trails.

One of the trails required us to search for our vehicle...
"just around the next bend..." my Dad kept saying.

I of course had a great time...

Look at this fine stick...

Kicking up my heels.

I never get tired of these incredible giants.

Backyard

E. doesn't always want to smile.

I on the other hand--love to smile.

Almost.

Not at all.

More smiling...

so close...

Pumpkin Patch

My new class went to the pumpkin patch .

Fresh apples off the tree.

A good friend.

The corn maze jig.

Posing with the tractor.

Picking out the perfect pumpkin.

Trying to include my little sister.

School Starts

I started my second year of pre-school in September.

At pre-school it is important one's hands are clean.

It was great to be back with all my friends
and the teachers but especially the toys.

E. isn't old enough for pre-school.
This is my post-school day pose
with E.

Shore Sojourn

Labor day this year was spent at the beach...
T. and I worked on moving sand.

E. enjoyed sitting in her stroller
or what I like to call her spot in the sun.

She had lots of attention from the adults around.

Daddy and his friend's enjoyed playing in the sand too.
This was the winning entry in the sand sculpting competition.

One of the best parts of going to the beach was
riding in the bus with O. and T.

Later we found ourselves on a trail to a different the beach.

E. rode on Daddy's back on this trip to the beach.

O. and I scavenged for treasures.

There were cute birds in the surf.

I could not resist putting my feet in the water.

Jo. Fair

We made our annual trip to the local fair.
We invited K. and G.

E.'s first trip.

E. seemed to enjoy it all--
safe in her Daddy's arms.

The petting zoo was fun...
who doesn't love a calf?

There also were some nice sheep to pet...

Then it was off to the races...

G. and I really enjoyed the crazy trucks falling apart.

Until one of the cars came straight for us...
We did not sit so near the fence after that one.

Then we got to ride the carousel.

I let my Mom come with me.
