Barely Banff (8/13)

We camped overnight at kicking horse with a gimpy leg

Daddy who was not kicking.
(Don't try this at home...no really...forgo the camping if one of your legs is in a cast.)

We made a sunny stop so Auntie L. could say goodbye

to Emerald Lake.

 Since we were too late to go to Lake Moraine--we

did a little exploring... Daddy decided to stay in the car.

The signs indicted a bear sighting--which caused E. to run.

 I found a dangerous slope to go down.

 Then I found all those rocks not in the water.

 Then we were off to Banff because really that was the goal.

Daddy was pretty quick with his wheelie thingy.

We made a stop by this place...

We saw this on the way out of town...

Then we stopped by this place with  some serious fire damage.

Rushing water--good enough to include in a posed picture.

I don't know how to explain this one...

Incredible--it really is real.

 

Then one last stop for fun...
Daddy was able to pose because of the paved road.

Driving home beautiful.
