Transformation

You might remember on E's birthday we got a new floor in
our kitchen.

In April, Daddy built us a breakfast nook
to go with our new floor.

In May--he put in a new ceiling
and wainscoting on the walls.

 E. seemed to think the nook was just for her.

In June we lost our old cabinets and
my Mommy started trying to decide on a paint color to go with
her soon to be built green cabinets.

Then Mommy and Daddy painted the ceilings and the walls.

 In July--the new cabinets arrived.

Then the counters and appliances came
and I decided it was time to make some Christmas cookies.

 Yes--Christmas in July!

 I love this prep table.

 E. loved the new kitchen so much she found a corner she
loved to go to when upset.

 E. also liked napping in the breakfast nook.

 E. and I did a little work this summer.

Our picket fence had to be scraped, sanded, primed, and repainted.

With a lot of help from family and friends--
We got some curb appeal!
