Second Celebration

E. got to celebrate her birthday with

a real party while our visitors were here and we had a floor in our kitchen.

 

A. and I got to  help decorate her new birthday cake--

looks great doesn't it?

 E. had fun blowing out the candles.

 Then it was time for presents!

 

 E. really enjoyed her new toys.

K. enjoyed E.'s toys too!

 

 Then we enjoyed some tea time.

(My Grandma Lynn sent E. a toy tea set.)

We all enjoyed it.

 Tea makes everyone happy.

We paused for a very exciting group shot.

E. is always willing to show us she has a full range of emotions.

Two is fun to celebrate twice!

Lovely Lithia

A. and I went to visit our uppity duck friends.

Our cousin M. came too!

Uncle M. made us a boat out of a leaf.

K. was there too--just being cute...

She isn't ready to hang out by the water--maybe next year?

Yes--that is Grandpa Ed.  He likes the uppity ducks too!

I like to dance on the picnic tables.

A. was willing to join in the fun.

E. is not quite ready to cut a rug or a table in this case.

A. and I tried to climb to the top.

Aunt B. was keeping K. warm.

K. enjoying the slide.

E. sliding.

M. did not like the slide as much.

E. does not like everything on the playground.

She likes the big girl swings.

She hates the little baby swings or maybe it is just swinging in general.

 

K. loves the baby swing!

 

I had to take a break to chase away a ruffian.

We went down to the lower ducks (that is OSF in the background.)

We had a great day in Lithia!

Rainy Lighthouse

After the wonderful tour thru tree--
I took A. to visit some sea lions

We also went to a lighthouse.

This was my first trip
to see the lighthouse.

It was a cold day!

The little girls and Daddy stayed in the van
for naps.

I want to come back on a warmer day.

On our way to the van we
noticed the tide coming in and blocking our path.

It was still light
so we took one more hike through the trees.

We have seen that tree arch before.

I love having A. come visit.
