Uppity Duck Day

No visit would be complete without
taking A. to Lithia to visit the uppity ducks.

E. was gracious enough to pose by the duck pond--
even in the rain.

A. and I tried to engage the ducks in conversation.

Then there was the posing for pictures.
I guess it was to prove RKL was there.

Once we got home RKL was ready for smiling.

E. was ready to do some bonding.

Then Mommy and Uncle Matthew had some
sort of contest to see who could get the most
pictures of RKL.

In the end--RKL tired of posing
and Daddy agreed to snuggle.

Cloudy Days

While Anna was here we enjoyed many cloudy days.

We walked a lot.

There was some exploration.

There were moments of awe.

Many pictures taken by all...

RKL made it into the group shot.

We took RKL to see the sea--ever
so briefly.

We also
went to spend time with the trees.

D.C. and Other Adventures

While A. was here--I took her to visit DC.

We shared our milk.

We cheered for donuts.

We watched RKL sleep.

Later--A. and I explored a local park.

We found the perfect rock for viewing our surroundings.

"I'm ruler", said Yertle, "of all that I see..."

E. was there too...

We found the playground still able to be played on...

Then back in the back seat again with slushies from Sonic.
