Swim School

What I have noticed about E. is that she spends a lot of time in her stroller.
This June while I was taking swim lessons--she just watched from her stroller.

I loved the swim lesson toys and my new friend S.

I enjoyed hanging out on the "dock".

It was fun to have the instructor hold me up in the water
and have me kick.

When I had to hold onto the kick board
on my back was not as fun.

Going down the slide sounded fun but
what I was not told was my head would get wet.

My instructor tried to get me to wear goggles...
hoping I would not mind getting my head wet--
but that did not help.
Maybe next year?

Father's Day Fun

For Father's Day--I took my Dad to a kind of parade where
people show off cars.
O. and T. were there too.

We stopped looking at the cars to just have some fun together.

E. did not seem impressed at all.

I also took my Dad to the playground to play some soccer.

I got myself wet trying to get some water.

E. was pleased with the whole thing.

I plan on E. being out of her stroller so she can play next year too.

Northwest Trek

While visiting my Grandma we got to go to Northwest Trek.
That is where this beaver was trying to make his way out.

He did not even stop when he saw E.

There were wild animals to see everywhere.

We toured the area in a little tour bus...
all the animals were roaming free.

We got to see caribou.

We got to see Elk.

We even got to see some beautiful views.

Leading the Llama

My Grandma let me help her with chores while I was visiting her.

One of my favorite chores was
leading the llama from the barn to the corral.

Grandma would lead the horse and
I would walk behind her leading the llama.

Grandma had to help me a little.

Once we had the llama in the corral
we took off it's halter and let it go.

Grandma seemed to really appreciate my assistance.

Going Green

We visited my Grandma Lynn in June...
Daddy and E. are beside some of the big trees on her property.

We all enjoyed being outside at her house.

We took a few walks exploring the area.

Grandma lives close to a great lake.

My Daddy with my Grandma and E. at the lake.

Grandma and I have a great time together.

I like opening the gate at her place.

I especially love all the animals.

Mercurial Monument

While visiting my Grandma we took a day trip to
Mount St. Helens.
This is the valley right below it.

Me with my Grandma, Grandpa, Mom and E.

Here we are right in front of the great volcano.
Wow is it beautiful!
(E.'s floppy hat is pretty funny huh?)

I really enjoyed learning about the volcano.
There is a neat place we stopped that explains everything...
not that I understood it all
but enjoyed the animal coloring pages I got.

Here is Daddy looking at the volcano with E.
Even after 30 years--it is amazingly barren.

There is an interesting hike there...
note I am not being carried
but E. is...
An all around wonderful day.

ELO Lifts Her Head

In early June ELO was working on lifting her head.

While I am modeling Aunt Betsy's cool gift...
ELO participates in what my Mommy calls "tummy time".

I am trying to teach her my posing techniques but she always falls asleep.

It is funny when she raises her head to look at me.

ELO is working on her own smile...
which I think is really special.

Family Photos

Aunt Cass came with us to Idaho--so she was in one of our family photos.

Why won't I look at the camera?

Why did we cover up Erica's face?

There we are--now just ELO needs to learn to smile
on cue.
